Sometimes, you'll want an article to link somewhere other than a detail page. By setting the Article Type field within an article, you can change where the article will link.

This field may or may not be available, depending on the how your administrator has set up Article Manager.

Full Article	This is the default setting for articles and will link to an article detail page.
Summary Only	This setting will cause your article to link nowhere at all.
Internet URL	This setting can be used to direct your visitors to another url. Often this is used to link to a relevant page on your own site, or to an article on another site which you're paraphrasing.
Uploaded File	This setting should be used when you want to provide the body of your article in another format than HTML. If you have a .pdf file to use as your article's content, you'll want to use this setting.
