Béatrice Loeb-Larocque

(-).

Condition:

The firm was founded in 1958 by my father Louis Loeb-Larocque. Orginally from Germany he arrived, shortly before the War in France. He started a antiquarian map and book shop in Paris and Monaco. He build a company specialzing in early maps, atlases, travel books, prints. The shop was frequently visited by collectors and fellow dealers from all parts of the world.

Since November 1976 Loeb-Larocque offers a yearly auction for old maps and views, atlases, prints and travel books.

I jointed the company in 1982, but basically I'm interested in books since my childhood.

The shop was housed until my father's death in 1996 at Rue Le Peletier in Paris.

Annually in November Loeb-Larocque offers an auction for old maps and views, atlases, prints and travel books. The next auction will be taking place in November 2003.
