Clauser, Jacob
c 1520 - 1579
Jakob Clauser (Klauser) was a woodcut artist, painter,
and draughtsman.
In addition to Sebastian Münster's "Cosmographia", he produced large
woodcuts for the "Tabula Palatinorum Heroldi" (1556) and "Opera
botanica" of Conrad Gesner, and also worked for Bonifacius and Basilius
Amerbach.
